DIY Spicy Chai Body Scrub

This wonderful Do-It-Yourself body scrub by Gaia Retreat & Spa will leave your skin feeling soft and silky. And it smells divine!
- contents of 3 chai tea bags
- ½ cup raw sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3-5 tablespoons almond oil or melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract OR 6-8 drops vanilla essential oil
Cut open tea bags and empty into a bowl. Add sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Add vanilla, honey and mash the oil in with a fork and stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Transfer to jar.
You can keep this fresh in the fridge for up to 6 months.
How to use
Use on the entire body by rubbing the sugar scrub gently in circular motions up towards the heart. Rinse and pat skin dry with towel – best to use a dark colored towel. We don’t recommend using this scrub on your face, as it might be too rough for the delicate facial skin. Use once a week or fortnightly.
