Keeping it Simple with the 3 Day Diet
by Jess Walter - Freelance Writer
Diets can be complicated, "don’t eat this, don’t eat that, only eat this type of fruit on a full moon, only drink this coffee if it’s been brewed by monks"; the rule list goes on and on.
We all need more time instead of complicated meal plans.
The 3 Day Diet, also called the Military Diet, goes against more complicated diet strategies and keeps the rules simple, allowing you to get on with your life.
Making Healthy Eating a Habit
With the 3 Day Diet, you follow a strict menu for 3 days. For the rest of the week, you should eat healthily, consuming between 1,300 and 1,500 calories a day. On these days make healthy eating a habit, don’t reward yourself with food by binge-eating or consuming foods that are really high in fat.
The weekly cycle of 3 days dieting followed by 4 days off is repeated until you have reached your preferred weight.
Normal Foods for Normal People
The foods are to most people’s tastes and very easy to find.
The foods on the 3 Day Diet menu are not found in expensive health shops, and they don’t need to be delivered to your door. They are simple and easy, found in every well-equipped supermarket. They are also a good balance between carbs, protein, fruits and vegetables and we all know a balanced diet is really important.
Over the course of three days the menu includes toast, eggs, cheese, bananas, tuna, lean meat, coffee and fresh vegetables.
How Does it Work?
The Military Diet is a very low calorie and low fat diet that works naturally with the body’s needs. There is a good mix of carbohydrates, protein and fat, which helps you to lose weight easily and simply.
The results are astounding.
You will need willpower though. You can lose up to 10 lbs a week - no wonder celebrities like Khloe Kardashian are such advocates.
There are many reasons why you would want to lose weight quickly. Perhaps you have a wedding to attend and want to fit into the perfect clothes. Or maybe you want to kickstart a long term weight loss plan, so that you can see and feel results quickly.
The 3 Day Diet can give you a really good sense of achievement and is simple to follow. With so much going on in our lives, we all need a little simplicity.
