When I first read these words many years ago, I felt a spark in my mind. Being a volunteer who has dedicated my life to “wellness”, as well as a professional who has made serious investments into living well was simply not enough for me. I dreamed of a “wellness” project that could be transferred to future generations and would change the world.
I thought that ideal should surpass all limits, and should inspire the seven billion people living on this planet in their shared dream, to live a better life. This was the moment that the story of Global Wellness Day began, a project we have been working on day and night for the last three years with the dream of creating a healthier and happier world.
According to international research studies, the most common disease throughout the world and the greatest danger facing mankind is depression. Also known as unhappiness. Unhappiness is not a simple problem. Unhappiness means sleep deprivation, stress, poor nutrition, inactivity, obesity and heart disease.
But solving this problem that darkens our future is not as difficult as you might think. If you occasionally fall into indecision, the only thing you need to do is to look in the mirror and become more aware. Because the solution is right in front of you.
We need an inspiring beginning in order to start living a happier and healthier life. And the name of that beginning is Wellness Day. Wellness Day is a journey of self-discovery where you will find that you can change every day of your life.
Global Wellness Day is a social platform that brings together exercise, healthy eating, and spiritual teachings in order to create a greater awareness living well across the world. It is a step that will ignite the flame of happiness on this earth. It is an instrument that whispers to you that by changing just a few things in your life, you can make a big difference.

Global Wellness Day is now one of those special days, as we celebrate it every year on the second Saturday of June. And perhaps it is even the most special...
Today Global Wellness Day is celebrated on five different continents in the world. Spread over 40 countries, Global Wellness Day Ambassadors are working with us to try to make the world a better place.

Today, one of my patients told me that a few weeks ago she was so disappointed in herself and feeling completely down.
