Dr Emanuela Cofano

With a degree in Biology at University Statale di Milano, Doctor Cofano obtained a master’s degree in Biology applied to biomedical and nutritional sciences, qualifying as biologist nutritionist. She completed various internship during her training in Milan: first at the laboratory of chemical and microbiological analysis of the Hospital Maggiore Policlinico Mangiagalli e Regina Elena, then at the department of Pharmacology, Chemotherapy and medical Toxicology of the University and last in 2013 at the department of predictive and prevention medicine of the Foundation IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori where, under the guidance of Dr. Anna Villarini, acquired specific competences in nutrition field, both with outpatient patients and with women patients undergone breast and ovarian cancer surgeries, with whom she developed relational and communication skills. Currently she attends the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at University of Firenze.

In Terme di Sirmione since 2015, she takes care of Nutrition Programs, carrying out nutritional assessments and personalized nutritional plans both for adults and children, healthy or with a pathological condition, cooperating with the other specialists in the various integrated check-up programs.
