The German doctor K. Matthias Rolle came in touch with complementary and alternative healing of both Eastern and Western tradition during his medical studies in Berlin.

In 2001, after several years of working in a specialized clinic for Manual Medicine, he founded the first center for F. X. Mayr Medicine in Tenerife, Spain. The Océano Hotel and Health Spa combines this holistic concept for detox with Thalasso therapy, osteopathy and nutrition.
