A member of the Canyon Ranch team since 1998, Richard holds a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Indiana University and is a certified tennis professional. He thrives at helping people find their calling, whether at the gym, on the courts, or in the great outdoors.
Concerned about the minimized role of physical activity in today’s society, and its associated health risks, Richard is passionate about inspiring guests to engage in regular exercise to better their current state of health. He’s a strong believer in the power that aerobic fitness has in stemming the risk of high body fat, insulin resistance and cardiovascular disease. Other areas of interest include endurance training, event goal setting, swimming, and cycling instruction.
