Rick Sommers-Steinhaus
Rick Sommers-Steinhaus is 58 years young. After a two decade career in broadcasting, he got a Master’s degree in social work, to “try and fix the world one person at a time.” It's taking a little bit longer than he anticipated.
In May, 2019, in celebration of World MS Day, Rick will set off on a global journey, circling the world in the course of a couple of days, to bring awareness to Multiple Sclerosis on a global scale. He hopes to make flight connections to highlight how MS affects people, by inhibiting their ability to function properly because of neurological damage caused by Multiple Sclerosis. If he lands in your city, feel free to visit him at the airport and cheer him on, as he scrambles to make his connection to his next destination.
