As they say, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Therefore, it is essential to keep your eyelashes in shape to maintain a striking appearance. Eyelashes give an instant lift to anyone’s eyes and also frame the eyes beautifully. However, this might not be the case to some people unless they adapt different tricks and hacks to keep their eyelashes thicker and longer. Read through this article to learn a few tricks that you can use.

  1. Use Oils to Keep the Eyelashes Thicker

Natural oils such as coconut and olive oil have a reputation for strengthening and stimulating the growth of eyelashes. You can mix both types of oils to achieve maximum effect. All you should do is coat the lashes with a few drops of the oil using an ear band. Allow the oil to sit on the eyelashes for five to eight minutes before you rinse it.

You should do the procedure once for one to two weeks to start noticing an effect on the eyes. You should also apply the oil on your eyelids and the skin beneath your eyes every night to achieve a noticeable effect.

  1. Maintain a Healthy Diet

Eating a healthy diet would provide the right nutrients needed for the growth of healthy, thicker, and prominent hair, which includes your eyelashes. According to scientific studies, hair experiences aging similar to any other part of the body. However, with a proper diet, it is easier to keep such a condition at bay.

Some of the nutrients that maintain excellent hair growth include vitamin E, Iron, Niacin, Vitamin A, and Zinc. Also, you should take food that is rich in protein since hair has protein as one of its major components.

  1. Comb the Eyelashes Regularly

Combing your eyelashes regularly stimulates their growth and blood flow. Look for a special brush or use a thoroughly washed brush from an old mascara tube. As you comb the eyelashes, close one eye, place the brush on the lashes, and roll over the brush on the lashes to keep them in shape.

You might notice that your eyelashes are shedding while combing them. In such a case, you must fight back the urge to pull them off or twisting them. It is recommendable to leave them to come out naturally and use the spoolie brush to keep them in place. It is best to maintain upward strokes while brushing your eyelashes, starting from the roots as you move upward. Brush them for about five minutes twice every day until you start seeing the desired results.

  1. Use Eyelashes Conditioner

Eyelashes conditioners can help you achieve impressive results with your lashes if you use them correctly. Products such as Revitalash UK offer remarkable quality that suits your expectations. Despite your choice, there are a couple of precautions that you should consider while using conditioners. Some of the considerations that you must make include:

  • Avoiding mascara for a while since it might dry your lashes if used for a long time.
  • Avoiding using fake lashes since the glue that you need to attach them to your eyelashes make them brittle and weak. Also, you should minimize your curler usage since a lot of chemicals thin the eyelashes.

  1. Use Vitamin E Supplements

As much as you would strive to maintain a healthy diet, you need to take vitamin E supplements to achieve a noticeable effect within the shortest time possible. Taking vitamin E supplements is a good idea since it is a remarkable antioxidant and helps in reducing oxidative damages that might be the reason behind your hair loss.

As you decide to take your Vitamin E supplements, it is advisable to consult a doctor to get the correct dosage. However, taking the supplements regularly does not harm unless advised otherwise by the doctor.

  1. Avoid Picking Mascara off Your Eyelashes

longer eyelashes

For those who regularly wear mascara, it is a common habit to pick the mascara. Such a habit is greatly prohibited since it ends up pulling out the lashes while at the crucial phases of their growth, which is something you would not like to experience.

Also, you should avoid picking your lashes even when you are not wearing mascara. Maintain a gentle touch on the lashes when they feel itchy rather than rubbing them.

Using mascara is not entirely bad for your lashes since it is an ideal short- term plan to keep the lashes longer. However, you should use it to the minimum to allow your lashes to grow naturally. Therefore, giving the mascara a one or two months break would be the best way to use them safely.

  1. Use Relevant Eyelashes Care Measures

There are a couple of measures that you can adopt to keep your lashes safe and enhance their growth. For instance, you need to avoid rubbing your eyes once you feel itchy. Rubbing your eyes usually cause stress on the eyes and make them thinner. Also, you will end up pulling eyelashes, which can lead to breakage.

Besides that, drink as much water as possible to keep both your skin and lashes healthy. Finally, always remove your makeup gently before you sleep and add oil to strengthen them.

„We learned early in life that someone else knew b „We learned early in life that someone else knew better than we did.“

Kelly Kolodney, known as „The Angel Lady,“ has spent nearly four decades helping people find their way back to their own inner knowing.

In a new conversation for Just Breathe Mag, she speaks about the exhaustion so many of us carry without naming it, the small practices that begin to settle a restless mind, and what it takes to trust yourself again.

In our latest essay, Maria Ushakova traces Jung’s path of individuation, the slow work of coming to know your own depths, and asks what becomes of our mental health when we look for meaning only in comfort, recognition, and wealth.

Asked late in life whether he believed in God, Jung answered: „I don’t need to believe. I know.“ ✨

In a new conversation for Just Breathe Mag, Dr. Peter Moosbrugger of @sonnenberg.health.hotel explains why illness so often takes hold long before we feel it, and what it means to start listening to the body earlier.

Sonnenberg Health Hotel is a healing hotel set high in the Swiss Appenzell hills, 972 metres above the village of Schwellbrunn. Rooted in the Biological Medicine of Dr. med. Thomas Rau, it treats the body’s own ability to regulate and regenerate as the centre of every stay. Clean mountain air and deep quiet meet a purely plant-based, gluten-free kitchen and a medicine that looks for the cause rather than the symptom.

There is a quiet moment, somewhere after the secon There is a quiet moment, somewhere after the second or third day of fasting, when the body lets go of glucose and turns to ketones instead. Something shifts. Hunger softens. The mind clears. And the noise of constant eating gives way to a deeper kind of listening.

Just Breathe Mag’s latest article follows that shift with the physicians of Marienkron Retreat and Health Resort, Dr. Ulrike Göschl and Dr. Martin Krizmanits, who gently separate what fasting truly offers from the myths that cling to it: the fear of starvation, the harsh detoxes, the truth about coffee, and why longevity is less about how long we live and more about how fully.

A collaboration between @healinghotelsoftheworld, @justbreathemag and @marienkron.

Psychology, in its original meaning, is the study Psychology, in its original meaning, is the study of the soul.

Yet modern medicine speaks of neurobiology, hormones, emotional regulation, and inherited traits. The soul has quietly left the conversation.

In part three of her worldview therapy series, Maria Ushakova returns to the questions psychology set aside. What lies beneath instinct, feeling, affect, and desire? And where do the roots of psychological suffering truly begin?

A reflection on ontological tendencies and the layers of the psyche.
