Finding Order in Chaos
© Alejandro Alvarez
We live in an environment and life rhythm that is challenging our wellbeing and balance constantly.
More and more people experience burnouts and depression. These conditions are mainly caused by stress. Most of the rhythms created in the modern system we live in are in conflict with our natural rhythms. Everything is in constant change: be is the weather, the environment or our relationships.
Human beings tend to resist these changes by stressing, attaching, and controlling as much as possible. In most governments, cities or companies, we created a system that is in conflict with the law of the universe and the cycles of nature.
This is causing a constant stress on our biorhythm and natural life cycles. Most of the structures in our society are interfering and limiting a harmonious flow of energy.
Creating Space
Our senses are hyper activated by noises, lights, radioactivity, Wi-Fi and information that stress our organism and our nervous system. We are constantly challenged by an intrusive conditioning.
In order to find peace in this chaotic reality, we have to activate our qi, our magnetic field and vital energy daily, creating space for wellbeing and happiness.
Ancestral traditions honored nature and respected all living beings. They teach us fundamental aspects for alignment and transcendence. We can use those tools to align our frequency in a tonality that nurtures us, honoring all five elements.
How can we bridge the internal and the external rhythm, releasing stress and rekindling the gaps that we experience in our everyday life?
When we create space, we find more ease along the journey.
Tools on how to balance all Five Elements in a daily routine
We can have a strong material and economical foundation with the best insurances. However, it may not always bring us a sense of grounding and security. We cultivate those qualities when we honor our needs and when we nurture our body in a healthy way.
Earth Element
We observe space in the earth element when we touch a tree, do some gardening, cook mindfully. When we use our hands and enter in connection with the earth. It helps us to ground ourselves. Creating time daily to connect with nature in some ways supports our wellbeing.
Time and resource management are fundamental for a healthy lifestyle.
Water Element
The people around us emotionally influence us.
Loved ones, and people may surround us. Yet, if the connection is interrupted, limiting our flow and creative energy, we can feel stuck and unhappy. Allowing space in the water element reminds us to observe healthy values in our relationships.
A practical way to clarify our emotional body is to drink water with positive intention, to take soothing baths or to visualize a purification of your emotions when we shower. Through movement and mindful expression we release tensions and channel our emotions creatively.
Relationships happen in space.
Fire Element
We may be doing a lot yet feeling that we are running in a hamster wheel. We may get tired focusing the energy towards future goals or feeling limited in our expression and actions.
If we get lazy holding back our self-expression and dreams, it can be as stressful as overdoing.
So how can we liberate our potential and use it wisely to bring warmth and positive energy to our lives? Giving space for our fire to shine uplifts the energy.
Let’s take leadership from the heart and do something that makes our heart sing every day :)
Rhythm flourishes in space.
Air Element
With the media and external influences, our mind is overwhelmed with information. It triggers our nervous system constantly giving very little space to breathe, and to be mindful through the day.
Clarity is found in space and in moments of introspection.
When we practice mindfulness, we create space to clarify our perception and to direct our thoughts with positive intention. We may take a few minutes daily to journal and to visualize our life aligned with the frequency of our intention. When we take a moment daily to reflect and to observe what we learned from our life experiences, we become more aware. We can create changes from consciousness.
Ether Element
The ether element brings light, peace and compassion. It reminds us to connect with what is sacred and divine in our lives.
We may call it God, Allah, Buddha, Shiva or life source. When we tune in this subtle force, we experience a sense of oneness and connectedness above our ego, our fears, our attachments. It helps us transcend the challenges of the day with grace.
A daily meditation practice leads us to a state of observance and equanimity. Meditation frees the pathway to access a state of peace, relaxation. A regular practice eases and heals our nervous system, our emotional and energetic body.
A dharmi lifestyle is integrated ancestral wisdom and the five elements in a practical way in our everyday life.
May your journey be in flow, tuning in a frequency of joy, peace and compassion.
