Five Days of Gratitude: 4. Earth Element
© Hikersbay Hikersbay
On the fourth day of our yoga journey, we will ground ourselves and practice being grateful to mother earth. Today we will focus on the earth element. We are thankful for all kinds of matter, and for all kinds of manifestations.
“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.”
—Zig Ziglar

Being grateful for the earth and to all living beings such as vegetables, gardens, people, animals, trees and even houses, facilitates a deep feeling of gratitude on the material level. When we appreciate matter and accept to “embody” gratitude, the experience is present in each and every cell of our body.
As human beings we are manifested in matter and live in this dimension. Showing gratitude and respect to all forms of creation leads to a healing, embodied experience.
