A Journey at The Farm at San Benito
© The Farm at San Benito
The driver welcomes me in Manila. After crossing the city, a peaceful green scenery unfolds along the way. It is a beautiful day with a tropical mist and perfume to it.
At my arrival at The Farm at San Benito I am mesmerized by it’s beauty and the prana (electromagnetic light energy) that emanates in this healing sanctuary. The vital energy (qi, prana) radiating from the plants and food in the heart of nature nurtures us in a highly nutritive way.
Setting my intention
Entering a new space I always ask permission to the spirit of the land and set up my intention.
“Hangad ko ay Pag-Ibig at kaligayahan”
“My intention is love and happiness” in Tagalo, Philippine language.
The Farm at San Benito offers profound healing modalities. As a godmother of the five elements, a whisper was guiding me to walk towards a vortex. When we walk in this space we experience lightness. We feel a nurturing sensation of peace and rejuvenation. There are a few natural vortexes around the property where we can recharge ourselves.
The garden villas are spacious, luxurious, and peaceful which gives us the opportunity to integrate our process with harmony.
Vision and purpose of The Farm
Upon arrival I learned about the vision and the purpose of The Farm:
Our Vision:
To be the global leader in the field of holistic medical wellness in an eco-social responsible environment.
∼∼∼∼
Our Purpose:
To provide results-driven holistic healing and transformative, sustainable lifestyle retreats anchored in medical science.
Healing modalities
I received my detox program for the week, which has been meticulously studied and prepared by Dr. Siegfried. The experiences along the journey consist of a complementarity of western medicine, nutrition and holistic integrative medicine all offered in a harmonious natural environment. Dr. Marian offers her support and healing expertise throughout the program.
The integration of Philippine healing modalities gives us a chance to experience the soul of their ancestral traditions while being in a safe environment.
They offer, for example, the Hilot Massage. A hilot therapist is trained in massage and body-mind connections.
The experience with Dr. Susan M.Balingit M.D. has been very insightful. She created a methodology for nutrition based on the cycles of nature and the aliments that resonate the most with specific times of the day and organs. Dr. Susan explains to us how to cleanse, balance and nourish ourselves based on this wisdom. She also offers a traditional Philippine healing treatment, cleansing the energy and toxins in a remarkable way.
Mindfulness: We learn more about ourselves. The expert medical team provides readings and consulting along our healing journey. We receive medical attention assisted by advanced technology for healing and stress management. The live interpretation of our blood and other holistic information brings a clear understanding about our health.
Farm to table
The quality of the juices and meals in the detox program are so pure, organic and alive. All the shots and juices are offered at specific times. What surprised me is that we can go with the flow of our day all around the vast property, they will always find us to make sure that we receive our detox juice at the right time of the day.
The tastes are delicious which facilitates a pleasant cleansing journey for everyone. All the meals are delightful and beautifully presented. Most of the food comes directly from the garden, which ensures that we receive healing properties, vitamins, enzymes… accompanied with its authentic taste.
The colors, tastes, smells and all senses are awakened offering a profound nurturing and integrative experience.
Creative therapy
The offerings include art therapy with the opportunity to create flower mandalas. This creation leads us towards a meditative state. We receive a bowl of fresh water, fresh green peanut leaves and colorful flowers that have been freshly cut in the garden. We place the leaves and the flowers one at a time. They take place floating gracefully and beautifully.
Are you in need of some exercise? The jungle workout class, trails around the property and some active yoga practices are available.
The Farm at San Benito educates the people about stress patterns and how they affect our wellbeing. They offer options on how to improve our nutrition, our routine and wellness. All doctors are creating a trustful bonding experience with the guests.
Integration of the Five Elements
The paths in between the restaurant, the lobby, villas and treatment rooms are peaceful invitations to walking in meditation. We walk through the trails around the lakes, the sacred mango tree, waterfalls, beautiful gardens, while the peacocks that embellish the whole experience. The space is so well aligned offering a sensation of peace and wellbeing in this beautiful tropical paradise.
As a visiting practitioner, I felt welcomed by the whole family. We found a perfect complementarity between their programs and my offerings: DHARMI® Method, Dharmi-Yoga® and Vortex Meditation. Through the consultations the guests found an integration of their experiences, clarification along their life path, and received practical tools to implement into their lifestyle after their return home.
We find a beautiful integration of all five elements of nature around the property, which brings a sense of harmony along the profound transitions that people experiences during their treatment and programs. Along the journey at The Farm at San Benito we find a sense of ease, integration and community that feels warm and natural.
The Farm at San Benito is a place where you will want to return to. A welcoming healing environment that inspires and uplifts our spirit, heart and body.
