A New Decade is Dawning – What You Need to Know

We made it through the year; Hurray! I say this because I feel that I have sort of tumbled through 2019. If you have been attuned to the energies of this past year you have experienced some major changes too. There have likely been challenges and perhaps even despair. Many agree that 2019 has put us through the grinder, or at least the wringer. It helps then to know that it has all been for the purpose that we are finding ourselves in a good place for the continuous grinding, or rising above, that the imminent 2020 energies are promising to deliver.

I have a feeling that 2020 will be a very special year!

This I exclaim not only to make myself feel better, but because many are saying that this will be, energetically speaking, the year for rising and shining. During the build up to 2019, I wrote about creating a Vision Board for intention setting. The Vision Board remains a helpful tool to make the process of intention setting feel less vague or overwhelming. But nearing this New Year I feel that it’s more about just letting go and surrendering to the downpour of new energies wanting to come through us.

 

What the Energetically Attuned say

The writings on the subject of this specific point in time for humanity are all about a churning aimed at putting us in the best possible place for benefitting from the fresh energies expected to stream in during 2020.

Two points to sum up 2019 & 2020, respectively:

  • 2019 was all about learning to recognise what no longer serves us and the act of letting go.

The January to May Blood Moon Eclipse and three super moons encouraged shedding. Whether it was a relationship, our negative self talk, deeply held fears, or whatever else was pulling us down to low vibrations and dark energies, was willing to leave us.

  • In 2020 we need to continue shedding or rise above.

 

Hollow Energetics

Already in January of 2020 Saturn and Pluto will align, resulting in a massive harmony-inducing energy burst. With this greeting, stepping into the New Year we can look forward to receiving a boost in vibration levels that can help us reach new heights of being.

Lee Harris, an energy intuitive, brings it to the point in his energy December update. He talks about Hollow Energetics. “You might start to feel like you’ve been pulled into the center of your life and you can’t feel gravity or the ground anymore. You may feel like you’re in a place that feels a little hollow or a little foreign to you. This Hollow Energetic phase is getting you ready for what is going to be a year where you will take stronger forward leaps in your life and in the world.”

 

A few pointers that may help us navigate (and maybe ascend) during 2020:

  • Allow everything you know to crumble (scary, I know!)
  • Know that everything is up for questioning & review
  • This includes all that you think you are – everything you’ve ever believed, desired, dreamed or wanted
  • Replace routine thinking with fresh perspective
  • There are no coincidences
  • Let go of the past
  • Let go of the future
  • Surrender to your ‘light’ authentic self & the present moment.

If you reacted to the word “ascend”, ascension is the process of personal awakening. It’s an opening of energy bodies to embody more Divine light in physical form. It propels us into 5D love/unity consciousness where we are able to experience more of our true multi-dimensional nature full of flow, trust, synchronicity and miracles.

2020 is all about TRANSFORMATION!

2020 is about inner change sending ripples to change our world, on a global scale. Especially, changes in order, power (abuse of) and structure are predicted.

a new decade

The ultra potent energy of the Pluto-Saturn alignment is bound to accelerate our spiritual growth and awakening. This doesn’t mean that, come 2020, all will be easy and rosy. But rather than “wading through the darkness” to try and “fix” it, it’s about rising above. And those who have done much work already in 2019 will manage much better, most likely. Reflecting on our life in 2019, or why not the decade, can help us see in what way we want to move in 2020, or why not the decade?

If, in 2019, you were called to release, expect that in 2020 this will accelerate – to peel back the layers of life, as we know it. But what is it that we want to manifest?

 

Manifestation

I believe that manifestation is the highest form of creation, and we engage with it every day, every moment. If we want to live a joyful life, it will be important to manifest this consciously, right? Because if we don’t know what it is that we want to manifest, how can we manifest what we want?

The transition from one year to the next is always an auspicious time for intention setting. And many sources point towards this hinge in time between decades as being very powerful. As you prepare to transition into the year 2020, you may want to consider whatever healthy habits you can implement, and not only habits linked to food or exercise.

Activities such as journaling, as well as shamanic drumming, dreaming, jamming – perhaps not a common activity yet; imagine you are letting your body float, move, express itself to the rhythm and sound of music – and plain not allowing yourselves to self-censor, are bound to be especially powerful tools. This is because manifestation is linked to alignment, hearing the heart, gratitude, imagination, visualisation and co-creation, and we cannot get there simply by staying in the mental sphere, in thinking and figuring things out.

To have 2020 vision is to clean out the old stories, trauma and resentment, so that you have fresh eyes to see your true path, not based on foggy lies that we carry and think to be normal sight. Which means to first go in, then heal to reveal your insights. We don’t need the eyes to truly see, we need the heart. And 2020 is going back to the heart to be found again.

🌱 Remove from oven and, using a spatula, flip leaves over.
🌱 Return to oven and continue cooking until it is dry and crisp, 20 to 25 minutes more.
🌱 Let cool completely.
🌱 Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
