Day 10
Not happy. Don’t feel like writing. Thought about giving up today. Several times. Didn’t. Developed serious food envy.
Bakery shopping for whole-grain roll depressed me. People bought cakes, sandwiches, drinks, salads and fresh cooked lunch meals. I bought one dry roll. Again. Bakery man turned out to be sadistic. Asked: “Anything else?” Wanted to physically hurt him. Didn’t. Just left. Thought: “Yes, that’s all. Thanks for rubbing it in.” Rude man. Unbelievable who’s allowed to work in service nowadays.
Breakfast: whole-grain roll, coffee with milk. Sad. Grumpy. Moody. Dreaming of pasta with a ton of cheese. Lunch: adapted menu – steamed vegetables. Broccoli, carrots, zucchini with two eggs and the usual whole-grain roll. Sad. Grumpy. Moody. Dreaming of pasta with a ton of cheese. Afternoon: very hungry. Only joy: countless excursions to the ladies room. Why? Distraction from thinking of pasta with a ton of cheese. Dinner: ham, asparagus, two tomatoes. Sad. Grumpy. Moody. Missing chocolate. Have cold chocolate in my fridge. It’s tempting me. A lot. Am strong though. Impressed by myself. Think I should get a medal. Think pasta with a ton of cheese would be a good idea now. To be continued…
